CIT Rísam PhD Scholarship
Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) invites applications for the Rísam PhD Scholarship Programme 2017. The Irish word Rísam, meaning “to strive or achieve”, underlines the purpose of this scholarship programme which is to promote high-end research directed towards the generation of new knowledge or original applications of existing knowledge.
The Rísam Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and research proposals must be aligned with CIT’s Research Prioritisation Thematic areas:
- Information & Communications Technology
- Maritime, Energy & Sustainable Environment
- Life Sciences & Wellbeing
- Health & Exercise
- Creative Arts & Multimedia
- Education & Learning
- Entrepreneurship, Competitiveness and Innovation
